Our theme this year is Diversity and Inclusion.
Our sessions are designed to get you thinking about your organization’s ability and readiness to include and serve diverse members of the community, both within your organization and within the greater Edmonton area.
The committee is very excited to have a great lineup of speakers, kicking off the day with Mark Holmgren as our keynote speaker, exploring the concept of Upside Down Thinking; followed by breakout sessions on the subjects of engaging youth, truth and reconciliation, managing board performance in diversity, and creating an inclusive and engaged organization.
We expect participants to discover a new way to look at diversity (in age, race, sex, and ability) when they recruit volunteers, staff, and board members.
