Board Governance: Emergent Thinking 2016

With much regret, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our upcoming Board Leadership Emergent Thinking 2016 event scheduled for this Saturday, November 19, 2016, due to low enrollment.

However, we will be meeting as a committee this Friday to discuss options for going forward. As you may know, our Governance Fundamentals spring event has been ongoing for 13 years, with approximately 175 registrations each year. We are considering the addition of an “Emergent Thinking stream” to our Fundamentals event so that we can still proceed with the good ideas and preparation that has taken place for the (now cancelled) Emergent Thinking event.

We hope you would still be available and interested in continuing with us for the March event. 

We truly appreciate your interest in our conference, and we truly hope that we can harness the same for our coming Governance Fundamentals spring event!

For those of you who have registered to the event, the refund of your registration fee is being processed, and you should receive it in the following days. Our conference coordinator David Feldman is happy to receive your comments and questions at the email address governance@ecvo.ca.
