In this session Govind will share his experience and insights into what makes for effective Board governance from a financial perspective. He will review standard financial statements and how Boards should read, interpret, ask questions, identify warning signs, and provide advice. He will also discuss how to choose and monitor performance metrics. Govind believes that effective financial stewardship and oversight keeps organizations strong and mission focused and also keeps funders, supporters and lenders confident about the non profit organization.
