Youth bring fresh perspectives to the complex social issues being addressed by the nonprofit sector and provide unique insights on changing community needs. Their voices are essential in creating a sustainable future and ensuring the work that we do as a sector is relevant. Volunteer Alberta’s Youth @ the Table program creates spaces for these voices by matching youth aged 18-30 with a nonprofit board. The Youth @ the Table team and participants will share their experiences and provide suggestions for how your organization can engage youth.
