How often have you attended an Annual General Meeting, only to find out that you were expected to be ready to stand up and take on a role at it? Who has a copy of the bylaws, in case we need to define quorum or know what to do if we’re short on numbers? What motions need to be made? What reports need to be presented? How can we do a better job at communicating with our members? Good AGMs are planned in advance! This session is for every member of the board, whether you hold an appointed office or are “just” a director! Let’s take the stress out of our AGMs through this interactive session. Oh, by the way, you won’t need to bring Robert’s Rules of Order, Newly Revised but we will probably still talk about parliamentary procedure!
