This session will serve as an introduction to that role, covering the basics of fulfilling the role effectively. Through both presentation and an interactive activity, this session will provide attendees with a base of knowledge for fulfilling theTreasurer role, and encouraging better financial awareness and oversight as a board member in any role. The session will also:
– Address key questions about the role of the Treasurer in different sizes of organisations.
– Discuss best practices in financial reporting and oversight, and how to encourage this within your entire board.
– Provide an opportunity to network with Treasurers andBoard Members from other organisations.
