Alex Abboud

Alex Abboud operates Abboud Strategies, a consulting term focused on communications, strategy, and organisation development.

Alex has more than 10 years of leadership experience in the non-profit sector and government. From 2010 to 2015, he worked for Homeward Trust, a large non-profit organization focused on ending homelessness. From 2013-15, he served as Director, Communications & Fund Development, and previously as a PolicyAdvisor and Communications Manager. He previously served as a key political staff person at City Hall in Edmonton, and as Executive Director of StudentsNova Scotia.

Alexis also an experienced board member. He currently serves as the Treasurer on the board of the Edmonton Heritage Council, and is also on the boards of the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society, Friends of MacKay Avenue School, andNorth Saskatchewan River Valley Conservation Society.

Alex serves on the boards of the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society, and theEdmonton Heritage Council. In his spare times, he writes, is a marathon runner, and a hobby photographer.
