Aslam Bhatti

Aslam Bhatti has had a long and varied career within the health sector including the role of Assistant Deputy Minister at Alberta Health, and several executive level positions at the Faculty of Medicine at the  University of Alberta, Alberta Health Services, the Alberta Cancer Board, and the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer.  Aslam is currently Executive in Residence at the School of Public Health at the University of Alberta where he serves in an advisory role to the Dean, faculty and students. He is also teaching a graduate course in Health Policy and Management.  Aslam is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors of Canada and is a Volunteer Instructor in Alberta Culture and Tourism’s Board Development Program.  He currently serves on the board of the Canadian Society for International Health and is Chair of the Advisory Council to the Islamic Family and Social Services Association (IFSSA) Board.

Aslam is also a Volunteer Instructor with Alberta Culture and Tourism’s Board Development Program (BDP).
