Becky Kallal has worked in the field of education for over 20 years which culminated with her serving for two terms as a trustee on the Edmonton Catholic School Board. Currently she serves on boards of a national foundation that supports leadership opportunities for women, a minister-appointed provincial committee, and a local organization for after-school programming for inner-city children. She also does contract work in the fields of editing high-stakes certification examinations, chairing meetings, serving as a parliamentarian, and training coach for a variety of post-secondary student councils. She lives in Edmonton and has been involved with the BDP for the past year and a half, and is greatly enjoying her experience with it.
