David Dodge

David Dodge is the producer and host of the GreenEnergyFutures.ca multi-media series of more than 180 documentaries on green energy technologies, projects, entrepreneurs and leaders in Canada. David is also the Chair of the Board of Energy Efficiency Alberta, Co-chair of Edmonton’s Energy Transition Advisory Committee, a past president of the Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues and a past president of Evansdale Community League.

David is an environmental journalist and a photojournalist who has worked for or served on the boards of many non-profit organizations.

These days his passion is working on the advancement of clean energy and energy efficiency in Alberta.

David is an active volunteer in his own community league and over the last 20 years has served as a soccer and basketball coach, fundraising chair for playgrounds and community facility projects and today is the Director of Sustainability for Evansdale community league where he helped his league build a 26 kilowatt solar system that provides all of the league’s electricity on a net annual basis.
