Marci Scharlé

Marci Scharlé (last name pronounced ‘shar-lay’) is a Community Development Officer with Alberta Culture and Tourism, and has been with the Community Development Unit for over 20 years.  Marci works extensively as a facilitator and trainer with non-profit groups and other government departments in the areas of strategic thinking/planning, board development and public or stakeholder participation.  She brings to her group facilitation work a passion for seeing people and communities creating their own images of a desired future and working together toward those goals by using their collective strengths and gifts. In 2007 Marci became a certified “Technologies of Participation” facilitator through ICA Canada (Institute of Cultural Affairs).
