Noel recently joined Edmonton Community Foundation as Donor Services Advisor.
With over 16 years of experience in the non-profit sector, Noel has worked with arts, social services, immigration and health-related charities. He currently sits on the MacEwan University Arts and Cultural Management Advisory Committee and the Board of Directors of Opera NUOVA. He has also served on the Edmonton Arts Council Operating Jury, the Board of Directors for the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Edmonton & Area Chapter and the 104th Street Action Committee. He volunteers with numerous fundraising events and campaigns in our community.
Originally from the Toronto area, Noel lived in Osaka, Japan for almost four years before settling down in Edmonton in 2000. He is thrilled to be able to work with donors and charities to make Edmonton a vibrant community.
In his spare time, Noel is an avid runner having run over a dozen half marathons. In August 2013, he participated for the first time on a Death Race ultra-marathon relay team. He also studies piano and while he is already fluent in Portuguese, he is working towards becoming fluent in French as well…but he’s not there just yet.
